Our Mission

• To provide affordable, high quality, accurate and reliable laboratory services to enable efficient and timely patient management to improve healthcare delivery in The Gambia.

Why we exist?

• Laboratory testing plays a crucial role in the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of disease in patients
• An estimated 70% of all decisions regarding a patient’s diagnosis and treatment, hospital admission, and discharge are based on laboratory test results
• As health care reform focuses on the diagnosis and early intervention, timely and accurate lab results are necessary for the quality of patient care and for managing downstream costs
• As a result, this company was born out of the need to offer the Gambian population high quality and advance laboratory services at an affordable cost

Who we are?

Brief Backrgound of Founders: 

Dr Alansana Darboe

He is the CEO. Alansana holds a PhD in Immunology from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine in the United Kingdom (UK). He has over 16 years of experience in both research and clinical laboratory practice.

Dr Momodou Wuri Jallow

holds a PhD in Human Molecular Genetics and Haematology from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. He has 15 years of extensive experience in working on research and clinical laboratory techniques.

Mamadou Jallow

He is the Operations Director. He holds an MSc in Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences from Kingston University in England. He has 10 years of experience in both clinical and research laboratory practice. He is currently pursuing a Degree in Medicine at the American International University West Africa (AIUWA).

Momodou Barry

He holds a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Ulster in England. He has 7 years of laboratory experience in both clinical and research laboratory procedures.

Ngange Kebbeh    

He holds a BSc (Hons) in Biology from the University of The Gambia. He is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Global Health in Germany. Ngange has 8 years of experience in both clinical and research laboratory practices.
